Shelf-life data coverage

The latest reported coverage is 61% for three fresh categories. Remaining shelf life still requires an approximation.

Historical finding

48% remained untouched in December 2024

Ana Duarte recorded shelf-life population at 48%, unchanged and outside the current phase. This later statement remains independently attributable after the technical consultant is removed.

Qualitative report

February 2025 shelf-life update

The core cutover discussion warned that fresh would find the shelf-life field still mostly empty. It gives no replacement measured percentage and cannot supersede the documented 48% numerically.

Estimate

September 2025 still used an approximate half

The escalation discussion restated that the field was populated for about half the range and wrong for a portion. This is an approximate statement, not a new precise percentage.

Original record error

A later “nobody objected” summary misses actual consent

Nadia Haddad proposed the approximation on 4 September. Priya Nair explicitly said “Proceed with your approximation” on 11 September. The 30 October exchange saying they merely proceeded without objection is incomplete from the outset, not a later reversal. Approval of an approximation does not prove its accuracy.

Latest documented · scoped

61% is the latest measured figure, for a narrower scope

On 11 December 2025, Kwame Boateng reported 61% for the three fresh categories in scope, up from 48% after an October pass. It is the latest explicit percentage found, not a chain-wide completeness claim, and it measures total shelf-life population rather than remaining life at ordering.
